We all had different ideas about where to fish, some choosing to target eels and flounders in the Conwy, while some opted for the rough ground areas for dogfish.

At the end it turned out that the doggies came on in the last hour and a half, and the top 4 bags went to them.

Top weight was Terry Jones with 7 dogs and a whiting from North Shore for a weight of 6.16 kgs, this included the heaviest fish of the match, a dog of 1.29 kgs, ( 2-13-08 lbs). Second was John Smith with 4 dogs from the Great Orme for 3.85, 3^rd was Mike Peters with 3 from Tan-Lan for 3.43, and 4^th Mark Hill with 2 from the Orme for 1.74.

Norman Dorling took 5^th place with 11 eels and a rockling from the Conwy estuary for 1.64, and 6^th was John Jones with 2 dogs and a whiting from North Shore for 1.51. 

Janet took the ladies prize with 4 eels for 0.52, and top team were John Smith and Mark Hill with 68 points.
