There is a charity fishing match being held at Trimingham on 10th April 2010 in aid of Multiple Scerosis. There will be a minimum donation of £5 per person fishing with all the money going to the charity. In addition there will be a BBQ and raffle held at the Trimingham campsite before the match. Once again all proceeds will go to the charity.
Rules
1. No pegs will be marked out so it’s up to you where you fish, so it will be first come first served!
2. There is a limit of two rods per person fishing.
3. Fish will be measured and recorded by the angler next to you.
4. Any fish caught, that are within the legal size limit may be kept.

All donated by Oasis Tackle and suppliers of quality bait in Cromer.
Proceedings
The BBQ will start at 1600 until 1830 (approx) then all persons fishing will go to the beach to fish through until 0400. Anyone wishing to fish but cannot stay until the end can have their catch recorded and it will be entered into the final result.
Please let all your friends and family know about the event and anyone wishing to come just for the BBQ or just for the fishing are welcome.

Hi all i will be running the river nene open this year on june 12th. Fishing will be from 11.00am until 16.00pm. It will be catch and release on all flats, All eels will be weighed. Cost of match will be £12 all in this includes heaviest flat fish and heaviest eel . It will be 100% payout ,there will also be a raffle in aid of air ambulance so prizes greatly appreciated. It will be one rod up to 3 hooks with any bait allowed. Last year 37 people took part heaviest weight was just over 5lb. i think everyone enjoyed it we also raised £160 ish for the air ambulance. places will be limited to 60 people.
